Initial consultation and examination
 
At the Back in Motion Chiropractic Clinic, we believe in providing comprehensive chiropractic care that takes into account your overall health and well-being. To ensure that we can provide the most effective treatment for your specific needs, we may ask you to share details about your past health history and any current medical prescriptions, x-rays, or MRIs that are relevant to your complaint or condition. Your privacy is important to us, and we will not allow anyone to access your notes without your permission. If it appears that chiropractic care is not the best fit for your condition, we will refer you to your GP or a specialised provider.
 
During your initial consultation, which typically lasts 45 minutes, we will conduct a personalised orthopedic, neurological and physical examination of your neuromusculoskeletal system (including your nerves, muscles, and joints). Depending on the specifics of your case, we may also check other important areas such as your blood pressure, heart, lungs and abdomen to rule out any other potential causes of your symptoms. Once we have gathered all of this information, we will carefully review it and discuss our findings and recommendations for care with you.

Digital X-ray

At Back in Motion, we have a fully-equipped x-ray suite on site that allows us to quickly and efficiently obtain high-quality digital images of your body if necessary. We have strict guidelines in place to ensure that x-rays are only performed when necessary, and we follow all current IR(ME)R guidelines to ensure that your exposure to ionising radiation is kept to a minimum. Our x-ray equipment undergoes annual inspection and calibration to ensure its accuracy and safety.

If you do need x-rays, you can rest assured that you won't have to be referred to another provider. We have the capability to perform x-rays on site and send the images to Radiology Consulting LLC in Minneapolis, USA for analysis. Within 24 hours, we receive a comprehensive radiology report that helps us provide an accurate diagnosis and get you on the path to recovery as quickly as possible.
